ਅਖਾਣ: ਵਾਹੁੰਦਿਆ ਦੀ ਜੋਗ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਚੋਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੰਮ ਪਈ
Akhan: Wahundiyaa Di Jog Gayi te Chobran De Jamm Peyi
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਜਣਾ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਖਪਦਾ ਰਹੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਹੱਥ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ, ਤੇ ਵਿਹਲੜ ਹੱਥ ਰੰਗ ਬਹਿਣ, ਤਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: Opportunity for the rich is gone, and neighbors rejoice
Meaning (English): People celebrate others’ misfortunes
