ਅਖਾਣ: ਲੜੀ ਘਰਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ, ਤੇ ਦਾਦੇ ਪਿੱਟੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਦੇ (ਡਿੱਗੀ ਖੋਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਤੇ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਘੁਮਿਆਰ ਤੇ)
Akhan: Laddi Gharadiyaan naal, te Daade Pitte Guandhian de (Digi Khote ton te Gussa Ghumaar te)
ਅਰਥ: ਕੋਠੇ ਤੋਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਈ ਤੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੁੱਸ ਪਈ।
Literal Translation: Fought with own family, and punished neighbors (from a fallen donkey and swirling anger)
Meaning (English): Sometimes petty anger leads to disproportionate or misdirected retaliation
English Equivalent: Cutting off your nose to spite your face
