ਅਖਾਣ: ਮੱਝ ਫਿਰੇ ਠੱਕੇ ਦੀ ਮਾਰੀ, ਮਾਹੀ ਕਰੇ ਚੁੰਘਣ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ
Akhan: Majh phire thakke di mari, mahi kare chughna di tiyaari
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਅਗਲੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਖ, ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਰਜ਼ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਣਾ ਚਾਹੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: The fish swims in the net; the fisherman prepares to catch it
Meaning (English): Opportunity is followed by preparation to seize it
