ਅਖਾਣ: ਬੂਹੇ ਬੈਠੀ ਜੰਨ, ਤੇ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹੋ ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਨ
Akhan: Boohe Baithi Jann, Te Vinno Kurhi De Kann
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਜਣਾ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਲੋੜ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ, ਤੇ ਲੋੜ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਪੈਣ ਤੇ ਨੱਸਣ-ਭੱਜਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: A spirit sits on the doorstep, yet peeps into the girl’s ear.
Meaning (English): Ignorant involvement in things beyond control can be harmful.
