ਅਖਾਣ: ਪੈਸਾ ਖੋਟਾ ਆਪਣਾ, ਬਾਣੀਏ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਦੋਸ਼
Akhan: Paisa Khota Apna, Baniye Nu Ki Dosh
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਭੈੜਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਨਾ ਸਰ ਸਕੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਸਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
Literal Translation: If money is fake, it’s ours; why blame the merchant
Meaning (English): One must take responsibility for their own mistakes
English Equivalent: Don’t blame the messenger
