ਅਖਾਣ: ਦੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਧ ਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ
Akhan: Dudh Da Dudh Te Pani Da Pani
ਅਰਥ: ਕਿਸੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਅਖਾਣ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: Milk separated from water.
Meaning (English): Truth is revealed; what is genuine is distinguished from fake.
English Equivalent: Separate the wheat from the chaff.
