ਅਖਾਣ: ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਛੱਡ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਵੇ, ਅਗਲੀ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਜਾਵੇ
Akhan: Thodi Chhadd Bahuti Nu Dhave, Agli Vi Us Hathon Jaave
ਅਰਥ: ਅੱਗੋਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਕੁੱਤਾ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ।
Literal Translation: Let go of little, many run away, even the next will be lost.
Meaning (English): Neglecting small matters can lead to larger losses.
English Equivalent: Take care of small things and the big will take care of itself.
