ਅਖਾਣ: ਟਕੇ ਦੀ ਹਾਂਡੀ ਗਈ ਕੁੱਤੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਤ ਪਛਾਣੀ ਗਈ॥
Akhan: Takkay Di Handi Gai, Kutte Di Jaat Pachani Gai
ਅਰਥ: ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਘਟੀਆ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਣਾ।
Literal Translation: The pot of a penny is lost, but the dog's breed is recognized
