ਅਖਾਣ: ਜੌ ਸੁਖ ਛੱਜੂ ਦੇ ਚੁਵਾਰੇ ਨਾ ਵਾਲਖ ਨਾ ਬੁਖਾਰੇ
Akhan: Jo Sukh Chajju De Chuware Na Walakh Na Bukhare
ਅਰਥ: ਅਸਲੀ ਸੁਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਦੂਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ।
Literal Translation: The comfort found in Chajju’s courtyard is nowhere else, neither in Balkh nor Bukhara.
Meaning (English): True peace and happiness are found in one’s own home, not in faraway lands.
English Equivalent: There’s no place like home.
