ਅਰਥ: ਜਿਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਸਦੇ ਹੋ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਰਸਮੋ-ਰਿਵਾਜ਼ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਲਣਾ, ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: As the country, so the dress.
Meaning (English): Adapt to local customs and culture.
English Equivalent: When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
