ਅਖਾਣ: ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੇਖਾਂ ਤਵਾ ਤੇ ਪਰਾਤ, ਓਥੇ ਗਾਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ॥
Akhan: Jithe Vekhan Tava Te Parat, Othe Gaavan Din Raat
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਜਣਾ ਨਿੱਤ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਫਿਰੇ ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਭਰੇ, ਜਿਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ ।
Literal Translation: Wherever I see the griddle and plate, I sing day and night.
Meaning (English): Being happy or active where there is comfort or provision.
English Equivalent: Make hay while the sun shines.
