ਅਖਾਣ: ਜਿਸਦਾ ਖਾਈਏ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਈਏ॥
Akhan: Jisda Khaaiye Use De Gun Gaaie
ਅਰਥ: ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਹੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰੀਏ।
Literal Translation: We praise the one whose food we eat
Meaning (English): Gratitude leads to loyalty
