ਅਖਾਣ: ਜੱਟ ਯਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੇ ਕਿੰਗ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ॥
Akhan: Jatt Yaar Nahi Te King Hathiar Nahi
ਅਰਥ: ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਜੱਟ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੀ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਵਿਗੜ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਦੀ ਯਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਇਤਬਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ।
Literal Translation: If a Jatt is not a friend, the king has no weapon
Meaning (English): True friendship is more valuable than power or weapons
English Equivalent: A friend in need is a friend indeed
