ਅਖਾਣ: ਜੱਟ ਦੇ ਜੌਂ ਪੱਕੇ, ਸੱਕੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇ ਧੱਕੇ
Akhan: Jatt De Jau Pakke, Sakki Ma Nu Mare Dhakke
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦੋਂ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਪੱਕ ਕੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ ਉਦੋਂ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਚ ਆਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਕਰਨੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਲਦਾ।
Literal Translation: A Jatt’s barley is firm, he pushes even a true mother
Meaning (English): A determined person will pursue goals regardless of obstacles.
English Equivalent: Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
