ਅਖਾਣ: ਜੱਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਮਲਾ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਚੋਰ
Akhan: Jatt Hoya Kamla, Khuda Nu Lai Gaye Chor
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਾਣ ਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਭੋਲਾ ਜਾਂ ਯਮਲਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਏ ਉਦੋਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: The Jatt went mad, thieves took God
Meaning (English): When someone is distracted or careless, even the sacred can be lost.
English Equivalent: Opportunity knocks when vigilance fails.
