ਅਖਾਣ: ਛੀਹ-ਛੀਹ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀ ਪੀਂਦਾ॥
Akhan: Chheeh-chheeh kitiyaan koi paani nahi peenda
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈਂ ਵਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਕਹਿਣ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਲੋੜ ਦੀ ਚੀਜ ਨਾ ਲਵੇ।
Literal Translation: No one drinks water by flicking it drop by drop
Meaning (English): Small, scattered efforts are useless
English Equivalent: Little and often doesn’t pay off
