ਅਖਾਣ: ਛੱਜ ਤਾਂ ਬੋਲੇ ਛਾਣਨੀ ਕੀ ਬੋਲੇ॥
Akhan: Chhajj taan bole chhaanni ki bole
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਐਬਾਂ, ਨੁਕਸਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਚੰਗੇਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਕਸ ਕੱਢੇ ਤੇ ਐਬ ਫੋਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: The sieve speaks as much as the sifted grain
Meaning (English): Even the smallest tool or person contributes to the outcome; everything has a role
