ਅਖਾਣ: ਚੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੀਏ, ਕੁੱਟੀਂਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੀਏ
Akhan: Chor Nu Khaande Na Vekhiye, Kuttinde Nu Vekhiye
ਅਰਥ: ਚੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਰੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਲ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੀਏ, ਸਗੋਂ ਮਾਰ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੀਏ
Literal Translation: Don’t watch the thief eat, watch the one who beats
Meaning (English): Focus on the source of consequences, not mischief
English Equivalent: Mind the punishment, not the crime
