ਅਖਾਣ: ਅਕਲ ਦਾ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਗੰਢ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ॥
Akhan: Akal da annha, par gandh da poora
ਅਰਥ: ਜਿਹੜਾ ਧਨਾਢ ਹੋਵੇ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: Blind in wisdom, but clever in money matters
Meaning (English): Some people lack sense but are shrewd in profit
English Equivalent: Street smart but not wise
