ਅਖਾਣ: ਘਰ ਦਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਜੋਗੜਾ, ਬਾਹਰ ਦਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਸਿੱਧ
Akhan: Ghar Da Jogi Jogra, Bahar Da Jogi Siddh
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸਲਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: The yogi at home is imperfect, outside yogi is perfect
Meaning (English): Outsiders are often idealized; familiar people’s flaws are noticed
English Equivalent: The grass is always greener on the other side
