ਅਖਾਣ: ਗੋਲੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਮਾਈਏ। ਤੇ ਵਿਹਲੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਖਾਈਏ॥
Akhan: Gole Ho Ke Kamaaiye. Te Vihle Ho Ke Khaaiye
ਅਰਥ: ਕਰ ਮਜੂਰੀ ਤੇ ਖਾ ਚੂਰੀ ਕੰਮ ਦਿਲ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਕਰੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਫਲ ਸੁਆਦੀ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
Literal Translation: Earn in crowds, eat in leisure
Meaning (English): Work hard when busy, enjoy later.
English Equivalent: Make hay while the sun shines.
