ਅਖਾਣ: ਗੋਲੀ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬੋਲੀ ਬੁਰੀ॥
Akhan: Goli Kolon Boli Buri
ਅਰਥ: ਗੋਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਿਆ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਭਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਜ਼ਬਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲੀ ਭੈੜੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁਲਦੀ।
Literal Translation: Speech worse than a bullet
Meaning (English): Words can hurt more than physical harm.
English Equivalent: The pen is mightier than the sword.
