ਅਖਾਣ: ਗੂੰਗੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੈਨਤਾਂ ਗੂੰਗੇ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਹੀ ਜਾਣੇ॥
Akhan: Goonge Diyan Saintan Goonge Di Maa Hi Jane
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਜਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਗੋਲ ਮੋਲ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ।
Literal Translation: Only the mother knows the mute’s children
Meaning (English): Only insiders truly understand the difficulties of someone.
English Equivalent: Only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches.
