Akhan: Khote Nu Daang Te Siane Nu Ishara Kaafi
ਅਰਥ: ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬੜੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਗੱਲ ਸਮਝ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Literal Translation: Whip for the donkey, a hint for the wise
Meaning (English): The foolish need strict correction; the intelligent understand subtle guidance.
English Equivalent: A word to the wise is enough.
