ਅਖਾਣ: ਖਾਈਏ ਮਨ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ। ਹੰਢਾਈਏ ਜਗ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ
Akhan: Khaie Man Bhaunda, Handhaiye Jag Bhaunda
ਅਰਥ: ਖੁਰਾਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਲੋੜ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਖਾਓ ਪਰ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕ ਅਜੇਹੀ ਪਹਿਨੋ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕੀ ਠੀਕ ਸਮਝਣ।
Literal Translation: Eat what pleases the mind, walk what pleases the world
Meaning (English): Balance personal satisfaction with societal expectations.
English Equivalent: You can’t please everyone, but consider both self and society.
