ਅਖਾਣ: ਕੁੱਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਘਿਉ ਨੀ ਪਚਦਾ॥
Akhan: Kutte Nu Ghiu Ni Pachda
ਅਰਥ: ਜੇਕਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ/ਖੁਸ਼ੀ/ਸੁੱਖ ਹਜ਼ਮ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Literal Translation: Ghee does not digest for the dog.
Meaning (English): Some things are wasted on those who cannot appreciate them.
English Equivalent: Don’t cast pearls before swine.
