ਅਖਾਣ: ਕੁੱਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਡੀ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਦ॥
Akhan: Kutte Nu Haddi Da Swad
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ ਭੈੜਾ ਕੰਮ ਜਾਂ ਐਬ ਨਾ ਛੱਡੇ ਤਾਂ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ।
Literal Translation: The dog enjoys the taste of the bone.
Meaning (English): Everyone appreciates what they value, no matter how small.
English Equivalent: One man’s meat is another man’s poison.
