ਅਖਾਣ: ਕੁੱਤਾ ਰਾਜ ਬਹਾਲੀਏ। ਫਿਰ ਚੱਕੀ ਚੱਟੈ॥
Akhan: Kutta Raj Bahaliye. Phir Chakki Chattai
ਅਰਥ: ਜੇ ਮਮੂਲੀ ਤੇ ਘਟੀਆ ਹੈਸੀਅਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਉੱਚੀ ਪਦਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਖ਼ਸਲਤ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਹੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Literal Translation: The dog rules, then grinds at the mill.
Meaning (English): Someone in power misuses authority.
