ਅਖਾਣ: ਕਾਲੇ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਵਣ ਬੱਗੇ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸੌ ਮਣ ਸਾਬਣ ਲੱਗੇ॥
Akhan: Kaale Kade Na Hovan Bagge. Bhaven Sau Man Saaban Lagge
ਅਰਥ: ਪੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਂ ਜਮਾਂਦਰੂ ਸੁਭਾ ਬਦਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।
Literal Translation: Black things never become white, even if you use a hundred pounds of soap.
Meaning (English): Some inherent traits or flaws cannot be changed.
English Equivalent: A leopard cannot change its spots.
