ਅਖਾਣ: ਕਾਠ ਦੀ ਬਿੱਲੀ। ਮਿਆਊਂ ਕੌਣ ਕਰੇ॥
Akhan: Kath Di Billi. Miaun Kaun Kare.
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਪਰ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ।
Literal Translation: A wooden cat, who will meow?
Meaning (English): Something incapable cannot perform its function.
English Equivalent: A useless object cannot serve its purpose.
