ਅਖਾਣ: ਕਲ੍ਹਾ ਕਲੰਦਰ ਵੱਸੇ। ਤੇ ਘੜਿਓਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੱਸੇ॥
Akhan: Kalla Kalandar Vasse. Te Ghadron Pani Nasse.
ਅਰਥ: ਜਿੱਥੇ ਫੁੱਟ ਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਰਹੇ ਉਹ ਟੱਬਰ ਬਰਾਦਰੀ ਕੌਮ ਸਦਾ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Literal Translation: Alone lives the saint; but the pot dries the water.
Meaning (English): Even the wise or spiritual face practical challenges.
English Equivalent: Even saints face everyday troubles.
