ਅਖਾਣ: ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਜੰਮੀ ਗਿੱਦੜੀ ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਿਆਹ॥
Akhan: Kal Jami Giddri Te Aj Hoya Viyah.
ਅਰਥ: ਉਮਰ ਦਾ ਕੱਚਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਪੈਰ ਵੱਡਿਆਂ ਵੱਡਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਧ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
Literal Translation: A jackal was born yesterday and marries today.
Meaning (English): Someone immature taking on responsibilities too soon.
English Equivalent: Don’t rush into things beyond your readiness.
