ਅਖਾਣ: ਕੱਛ ਵਿਚ ਛੁਰੀ। ਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਮ-ਰਾਮ॥
Akhan: Kachh Vich Chhuri. Te Munh Vich Ram-Ram.
ਅਰਥ: ਉਪਰੋਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਦਿਸਣਾ ਪਰ ਕੰਮ ਮਾੜੇ ਕਰਨੇ।
Literal Translation: Knife in the loin, and Ram-Ram on the lips.
Meaning (English): Someone hides hostility while pretending to be holy.
English Equivalent: A wolf in sheep’s clothing.
