ਅਖਾਣ: ਹੋਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰੀ ਦੀ। ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੰਗੋਰੀ ਦੀ॥
Akhan: Hori nu hori di. Anhen nu dangori di.
ਅਰਥ: ਜਿਸ ਸ਼ੈ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੋੜ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਖਿਆਲ ਫਿਕਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Literal Translation: The thief gets the thief’s share, the blind gets the stick.
Meaning (English): People get what is appropriate to their actions or nature.
English Equivalent: “What goes around comes around.”
