ਅਖਾਣ: ਸਿਰੋਂ ਗੰਜੀ ਕੰਘੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੋੜਾ॥
Akhan: Siron Ganji, Kanghiyan Da Joda
ਅਰਥ: ਲੋੜ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।
Literal Translation: A bald head, but a bundle of combs.
Meaning (English): Useless possessions for one’s condition.
English Equivalent: "Carrying coals to Newcastle."
