ਅਖਾਣ: ਸਾਂਝਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਪਿੱਟੇ। ਸਾਂਝੀ ਹਾਂਡੀ ਚੁਰਾਹੇ ਫੁੱਟੇ॥
Akhan: Sanjha Baba Koi Na Pitte, Sanjhi Handi Churahe Phutte
ਅਰਥ: ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਜੁੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ।
Literal Translation: No one beats a shared saint; a shared pot breaks at the crossroads.
Meaning (English): What belongs to all, is cared for by none.
English Equivalent: "Everybody’s business is nobody’s business."
