ਅਖਾਣ: ਸਾਉਣ ਸੁੱਤੀ। ਖਰੀ ਵਿਗੁੱਤੀ॥
Akhan: Saun Sutti, Khari Vigutti
ਅਰਥ: ਸਾਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਦਿਨੇ ਸੌਣਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਿਆਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਸੁਸਤੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਗਾੜ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ।
Literal Translation: Sleep in Saun (rainy month), and the crop is ruined.
Meaning (English): Laziness at the wrong time leads to loss.
English Equivalent: "Make hay while the sun shines."
