ਅਖਾਣ: ਉਠਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਨਾ। ਫਿੱਟੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਗੋਡਿਆਂ ਦੇ॥
Akhan: Uthia jaave na, fitte moonh godeyan de
ਅਰਥ: ਕੰਮ ਆਪ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਪਰ ਦੋਸ਼ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ।
Literal Translation: Can’t get up, curse the knees.
Meaning (English): People blame their body/others for their own weakness.
English Equivalent: A bad workman blames his tools.
