ਅਖਾਣ: ਸੱਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕਦੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ॥
Akhan: Sappan De Puttar Kade Mittar Nahi Hunde
ਅਰਥ: ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਲਾਦ ਵੀ ਵੈਰ ਕਮਾਉਣੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਲਦੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਤਬਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।
Literal Translation: Sons of snakes are never friends.
Meaning (English): The wicked cannot be trusted.
English Equivalent: "A leopard can’t change its spots."
