ਅਖਾਣ: ਸੱਦੀ ਨਾ ਪੁੱਛੀ। ਮੈਂ ਲਾੜੇ ਦੀ ਫੁੱਫੀ॥
Akhan: Saddi Na Puchi. Main Laade Di Phuffi.
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਬਦੋ-ਬਦੀ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਬਣਦਾ ਫਿਰੇ ।
Literal Translation: Didn’t ask the century; I am the daughter-in-law’s aunt.
Meaning (English): People may respond literally, avoiding expected answers.
English Equivalent: Answering literally, missing the point.
