ਅਖਾਣ: ਉਠ ਨੀ ਨੂੰਹੇਂ ਨਿਸਲ ਹੋ ਚਰਖਾ ਛੱਡ ਤੇ ਚੱਕੀ ਝੋ॥
Akhan: Uth ni nuhe nisal ho, charkha chhad te chakki jho
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦੋਂ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਖੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਔਖਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
Literal Translation: Get up, daughter-in-law, stop spinning and start grinding.
Meaning (English): Time to shift work when priorities change.
English Equivalent: A time for every task.
