ਅਖਾਣ: ਸਹੇ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਹੇ ਦੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ॥
Akhan: Sahe Di Nahi. Mainu Pahe Di Pai Hai.
ਅਰਥ: ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਇਕ ਭੁੱਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਮਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਲੀਹ ਹੀ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ।
Literal Translation: It’s not of the patient; I got it from the clever.
Meaning (English): Sometimes, success comes from cunning rather than patience.
English Equivalent: The clever reap the rewards.
