ਅਖਾਣ: ਇਕ ਕਮਲੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਪੈ ਗਈ ਸਿਵਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ

ਅਰਥ: ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਇਕ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਮੁਸਕਿਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਜਾਵੇ।
Literal Translation: One blanket, the other falls on the path of threads
Meaning (English): Resources or protection are limited and not everyone gets it
