ਅਖਾਣ: ਇਕ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਮਲਾ ਤਾਂ ਸਮਝਾਏ ਵਿਹੜਾ। ਵਿਹੜਾ ਹੋਏ ਕਮਲਾ ਤਾਂ ਸਮਝਾਏ ਕਿਹੜਾ
Akhan: Ik Hove Kamla Taan Samjhaaye Vihda. Vihda Hove Kamla Taan Samjhaaye Kehda
ਅਰਥ: ਜੇਕਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਇਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਮਾੜਾ ਹੇਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਸਮਝਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾੜੇ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਰਾਹੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
Literal Translation: If one is crazy, he explains the yard; if the yard is crazy, who explains?
Meaning (English): Responsibility is meaningless if both sides are incapable
English Equivalent: You can’t reason with a fool
