ਅਖਾਣ: ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਰੱਜੀ-ਪੁੱਜੀ ਆਪੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਜੀਉਣ।
Akhan: Aape Hi Main Rajji-Pujji, Aape Mere Bachche Jeon
ਅਰਥ: ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਪਰ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਰੀਫਾਂ ਕਰੀ ਜਾਵੇ ।
Literal Translation: By myself I am nurtured, by myself my children live
Meaning (English): Self-reliance is crucial; one must take responsibility for one’s own life and family.
English Equivalent: God helps those who help themselves.
